Discover the Greener Side of Miami

Miami is not just about the pulsating lights and vibrant music; there's room for the lovers of the outdoors when in the city. Once the sun starts to rise, one will soon discover that Miami is indeed a city for all ages- including kids, the young at heart and for those wanting to appreciate the greeneries. There are a number of beaches, parks, natural areas and gardens that can be visited in Miami. All these areas will surely offer you with the best thrill and satisfaction, sometimes more than what one gets from the rowdy clubs in South Beach. But just a little reminder; these patches of greens are scattered all around the city and if you want to cover all you must have your own car or you tap a sedan limo. Miami is a large city, and a limo at your beck and call will most definitely help. Here are some of the best patches of green this side of Florida.

Amelia Earhart Park in Hialeah- Traffic is bad in Hialeah, but with a sedan at your site and the Amelia Park visiting this site in Miami will become an enjoyable experience. Lovers of the outdoors will like what this park has to offer, from the five lakes where one can go fishing to the picnic grounds and facilities and barns where one can look at the sheep and horses. Don't worry about the parking during weekdays since it comes for free, but on weekends expect to pay $4 per car. Open from 9am to sunset, the attractions will serve as a welcome respite to the parties done on South Beach.

Bill Baggs, Cape Florida State Park- From Hialeah, go straight to 1200 Crandon Boulevard and roughly 20 minutes from downtown Miami. This is a nature reserve as well where one can commune with nature, and take a dip in some of the secluded beaches in the area. One point of interest in the area is the lighthouse, reportedly built in 1825 and the oldest lighthouse in the state. Cover the grounds by renting bikes and kayaks in a rental shack inside the park. There's a small restaurant in the area as well that serve Latin food. More than the wildlife, Bill Baggs has been consistently rated as tops when it comes to beaches. If you happen to visit the park, make sure to check out the 1 ¼ mile of sandy beaches that's an open secret for many natives and travelers.

Fairchild Tropical Garden- On the Cutler Road in Coral Gables one can visit the Fairchild Tropical Garden. Known for the lush rainforest and hosts some of the best rare and exotic plants, the garden is the perfect sanctuary for those wanting to learn more about flora. There are 11 lakes and meadows to check out, and half a day is not enough to cover the 83 acres worth of greeneries and beauty.

Parks and wildlife in Miami have taken a backseat in favor of the party scene, but this shouldn't stop one from discovering the other side of Miami. If you would like to experience the greener side of Miami, you'll do yourself a good favor by contacting a provider of sedan limo. Miami parks are located miles from each other, and a service sedan or limo from us will make your visits more convenient.
